It's been awhile...

Sorry, I haven't blogged in awhile. I'll try to catch up with the following posts. The exciting news is that John's started solids (Gerber rice cereal). I took a video of his first feeding, but it might be too long to post. I'll try to get a picture at least for you.

The Walker

We're borrowing this walker from our neighbor. John loves it. He enjoys seeing how fast he can drop the toys from his tray to the floor. His legs aren't long enough for his feet to touch the floor, so they just dangle. If you're wondering what noise is in the background, it's videos playing of him.

Memorial Day

I am Growing, Look at Me!

John seems to be growing taller/longer. We haven't had his weight or height checked since April. His next Dr's appt is June 23rd. I'm so curious to see how tall/heavy he is.

Silly Smile

First Tooth!

The tooth is located in front on the lower jaw. John has been drooling a lot (see picture). I first noticed the tooth when he was sucking on my wrist one day. Dr. Parker has recommended to start weaning John from his binky and bottle. I introduced a sippy cup just recently and I'm giving the binky only when he needs it.

Play Time with Daddy!

Brent loves his little boy. It's so special to see them play together. John's blessed to have such a wonderful father.

He's Rolling Over!

This video was taken awhile ago. Since then, John's been rolling over from his back to his stomach as well.

Sleeping Cutie

I can't believe John is almost 6 mos. already. Every time I lay him down to sleep at night, I'm reminded how fast the days go by. I try to enjoy every moment with him, but it's so easy to get caught up in the "tyranny of the urgent".
